After sending hundreds of CVs and cover letters you finally got a positive response? Well done to you!
Now it's time to prepare for the interview in order to make it happen.
To introduce myself, my name is Eva, I am 22 years old and I am a French exchange student. As part of my studies, I had to do an internship for 6 months last year. It was the first time I was looking for an internship, so I was a bit lost on the steps to follow. After getting an interview, I had to prepare myself to get the job.
Through this blog I will give you my advices to prepare yourself without stress and hopefully succeed!

1. Define what the recruiter expects from you
The recruiter's objective during this interview will be to discuss with you the different aspects of your application: your interest in the proposed assignments, the coherence of your professional background, your human qualities...
2. Find the possible information about the company to know its core business.
Look at the product you expect to work on, the organization of the business. Review the job offer carefully so that you can discuss the company's requirements for you.
3. Prepare information about yourself
Write down the experiences that are most important to you and that you feel are particularly relevant to the proposed assignment.

4. Prepare answers to the potential questions the recruiter will ask you
The most common questions are: Why do you think you are the best candidate for the position? Why do you want to work with us? What are your strengths/weaknesses?
Look for examples from your own experience that show why you are qualified for this position.
5. Ask someone you trust to give you a mock interview
It will gives you confident for the real interview
6. Allow sufficient time, as punctuality is essential ⌚

It is best to arrive at the company's premises a few minutes before the agreed time. In general, 15 minutes will be enough.
So, look at the transportation to go to the brand office, and ad time for the vagaries (accident, bus missing...)
7. Choose your clothes 👔
Pay attention to the general impression you can leave during your interview. Your dress code should be in accordance with the company's dress code. Properly chosen, it will help you feel confident during your interview.
TIPS: Do not put to much perfume, it could disturb the recruiter.

A smile, a firm handshake, an enthusiastic behaviour can all contribute positively to generating a good first impression of you. But be careful to not being to confident and friendly with the recruiter.

Annotating the important points raised by the recruiter is a sign of professionalism and can only be appreciated by your interviewer. This will also allow you to come back to the most important subjects of the interview
3. Follow up with the recruiter after the internship interview?
YES ! An e-mail thanking the recruiter would be the minimum. Repeat the few important points noted during your interview, specifying that you have taken them on board and that this exchange has confirmed your enthusiasm for continuing the adventure with this company.
